Philippe Saint-André will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Philippe learned his sport in his hometown playing for the US Romans club. He is also known as the man with 69 caps with the French rugby team, 34 of which he earned as captain, between 1990 and 1997. Following an exemplary career as a player, Philippe took on the role of coach and succeeded Marc Lièvremont as manager of the French team. For this sports enthusiast, it is a great honour to become an Olympic Torchbearer in his native region.
