His dedication now takes the shape of work in a circular economy firm, where he aids in cutting down construction waste for a greener tomorrow. However, the greatest trial of his life was his wife's cardiac arrest, a harrowing moment that saw him standing vigil by her side throughout her prolonged coma.

Despite the ordeal, he clung to hope and witnessed his wife's remarkable resilience. Inspired by her unwavering courage and resolve, he drew unforeseen strength to confront his own battle against cancer. Patrick sees the Olympic torch as a symbol of resilience and the hope that better days will come. By becoming an Olympic torchbearer, he aims to convey a message of perseverance. He is a firm believer in the Olympic spirit that dwells within us all, and through his involvement, he hopes to spread this message.
