Olivier Oggiano

Olivier Oggiano will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Olivier, a former footballer, traded his boots for a new career as an adapted physical education teacher. Now on the front lines of the "aging well" movement, his dynamic spirit and passion for helping others have left a mark on various municipalities across Southern Corsica.

As the founder of the charity Sport'a Be, he supports a wide range of groups with specific needs. At the helm of the charity Les Trailers de l'extrême Sud, Olivier is the living embodiment of passion for sports in all shapes and colours. A central figure in the "Terre de Jeux 2024" events in Bonifacio, he is a staunch advocate of sports for all. Olivier is a PE teacher who runs after-school and extracurricular activities at an elementary school, including inter-school Olympiads featuring para-sports, to foster a culture of physical activity and sports for all. His dedication is a true testament to his vision for a more inclusive and active society.
