Olivier Charmeil

Olivier Charmeil will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Olivier is a fervent advocate of collective commitment, whether in his professional career or private life. His dedication to a more inclusive French society is reflected in his involvement with an association. For a number of years, he has been an active supporter of the Goélands Foundation, which helps senior high school and university students facing a range of financial, family and social difficulties.

This foundation aims to provide not only financial support, but above all human support, provided that the beneficiaries undertake to give the best of themselves in return. Olivier has had the privilege of supporting and watching, at key moments in their lives, young people who embody the French excellence of tomorrow, whether they be musicians, dancers, chefs, craftspeople or others. He knows that these young people are now contributing, at their own level, every day, to building a fairer society, a society that knows how to rally around important values such as sharing and inclusion.
