Nicolas Wallon

Nicolas Wallon will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

An outdoor sports enthusiast and member of the Ajaccio triathlon club, Nicolas loves to share and engage in a wide range of disciplines. Working as a journalist for the island's only daily newspaper, he is passionate about telling the tale of his homeland and its mountains, whose hiking trails are known and renowned around the world. As part of the editorial team, he has also teamed up with institutions to write books about the famous GR20 trail, as well as its lesser-known cousins, the mare a mare trails, and its cycling tourism counterpart, the GT20 route. Epic journeys await travellers yearning for freedom and an adrenaline rush.
