Nelly Satin

Nelly Satin will carry the Olympic Torch**. This is her story:**

Nelly is much more than a paediatric nurse. Each day, she gets up and goes to work to care for children, whilst also bringing up her own. At Nelly’s home, life is in full swing: laughter, cries, movement and love abound. Even when she has finished her day’s work, she is still available for others. Nelly embodies the energy of an entire region, with enthusiasm and liveliness that spare her any bitterness. She lives every event intensely, whether it is the world cup, elections, the village fete or even her husband’s football matches and her youngest child’s training sessions.

Nelly is everywhere at once: she prepares snacks, decorates, runs the refreshment area, accompanies the little ones, tidies up and shares photos of the matches. Even though she does not take part in sport herself, she looks after everybody. Knowing that she will never be able to watch the Olympic Games in person, Nelly has decided to bring them into her home, into her living room, thanks to a large screen. As a result, she can enjoy this exceptional event with her family and all those she loves.
