Stage 53
Loiret
Nathalie Salomon will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her history:
In spite of her autism spectrum disorder (ASD) that was not diagnosed until she retired, Nathalie managed to lead as “normal” a life as possible. She often had to pretend to fit in with social expectations, accepting the constraints and physical and emotional pain imposed by society in order to fit in.
£Nathalie is convinced that her participation as an Olympic Torchbearer could make other women more aware of their ASD and encourage them to start living a life more adapted to their disability. Her contribution could light up the Games thanks to her testimony and commitment.
