Nabila Huruguen

Nabila Huruguen will carry the Olympic Torch. Here’s her story:

Nabila wants to share the valuable lessons sport has taught her with as many people as possible. She keenly pursued athletics from the age of 12 to 28, learning fundamental values such as hard work and self-confidence along the way. Today, Nabila works in disadvantaged neighbourhoods, running workshops where she promotes sport as a powerful tool for social integration.

She also volunteers her time helping athletes seek financial backing and find sponsors to support their careers. She is also actively involved in corporate sport, working on projects to promote the benefits of physical activity in the workplace.
