Michel Leccia will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Michel will shine a light on the Games in his role as president of Parlemu Corsu!, an organisation founded in May 2007 to fight for a bilingual society. As a Corsican Language and Culture teacher in Portivechju/Porto-Vecchio, he moves heaven and earth to safeguard Corsican heritage. Michel is also the driving force behind A Currilingua, a race that aims to invigorate the community and raise funds for key Corsican language projects, ranging from film translations and the creation of immersion centres to community-driven schools and web-based radio stations.
