Mediha Karic 

Mediha Karic will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Mediha fully embodies the motto of “setting an example” in all aspects of her life. Her constant pursuit of high standards of integrity and ethics is reflected in her day-to-day behaviour, both in her private life and in society at large. She works for ArcelorMittal, a partner of the 2024 Paris Games, and she is committed to developing her knowledge and improving her skills every day.

As executive assistant to the CEO, she has played a crucial role in major health, safety, environment and energy projects. Mediha also contributes to promoting gender equality and is heavily involved in her community, providing assistance to vulnerable people. At the same time, she is pursuing her personal objectives in terms of sustainable development. Mediha is convinced that rapid changes in behaviour are needed to preserve our planet and is determined to play her part in creating a better world.
