Maud Janssen will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:
Maud is a young woman full of life who has always been involved in sport, from baby swimming and swimming to Zumba, athletics and now archery. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does. For the last year, she has been a member of the committee, as secretary, of an association focused on disability. She devotes plenty of time and is ready to willingly give it to others. She is altruistic as well as emphatic and the situation of others around her is very important to her. She wants to help other people with the same disability and regularly takes part in conferences and information meetings on disability and harassment. For her, carrying the Olympic Torch is another way of participating and representing France, her commitment and the investment of her energy.
Maud embodies energy and vitality, having always been involved in a variety of sports, from baby swimming and swimming to Zumba, athletics and finally archery. Whatever the activity, she puts her heart and soul into everything she does. One year ago, Maud joined the committee, as secretary, of an association focused on disability. She unsparingly devotes her time and energy to others. The well-being of those around her is something very dear to her heart. She aims to help other people with the same disability as her and actively takes part in conferences and information meetings on disability and harassment. For Maud, carrying the Olympic Torch is much more than a simple participation: it is a means of representing France, but is also symbolic of her commitment and dedication to others.
