Mathieu Colin

Mathieu Colin will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Mathieu is the epitome of collective energy, actively engaging in local communities and leading a range of projects that make France sparkle.

As a project manager at Mission Locale des Hautes-Pyrénées, he has proven his dedication to helping those around him and his commitment to fostering a more inclusive and sustainable society with a stronger focus on solidarity. Back in 2017, Mathieu took the initiative to set up a refugee assistance service that used work and sport as engines for integration, reflecting his commitment to bridging communities and fighting for inclusion.

Moreover, he recently teamed up with Tarbes Pyrénées Rugby to promote sport as a vehicle for positive values among the younger generation. Mathieu is an athlete through and through, running and hiking on a daily basis. He exemplifies the dynamic energy of sports. His regular practice and involvement in projects that strive to encourage young people to have an active lifestyle speak volumes about his commitment to physical and mental well-being in the community. Mathieu will proudly carry the Olympic torch for France. His dedication, sporting spirit and aspiration to build a better society are a call to action.
