Marie-Laure Damasio will carry the Olympic torch. This is her story:

For the first 25 years, Marie-Laure had a challenging relationship with sports, viewing it more as an obligation due to her weight. However, her life took an extraordinary turn when she discovered canicross, trail running and jogging. Over a span of three years, she has clocked over 1,000 kilometres injury-free, turning sports into her sanctuary and a personal challenge.

Marie-Laure relishes the thrill of new challenges and the discovery of uncharted paths, with her trusty dog, Cookie, always by her side. Her selection as an Olympic torchbearer is a monumental honour for her and the ideal opportunity to show that sports are for everyone.
