Marie Delatour

Marie Delatour will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Sport has genuinely injected new energy into the life of Marie, who was the victim of a severe road accident in 2015 and had to undergo a long period of rehabilitation. She showed unfailing determination on beginning a new chapter in her life by taking up triathlons in 2022 and she went on to become French champion in the PTS4 category that same year. As an Olympic Torchbearer, Marie will proudly embody the values of courage and self-sacrifice.
