Marie-Christine Ruiz

Marie-Christine Ruiz will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Marie-Christine is a key figure in her town, deeply involved in all local initiatives. As the chairwoman of the sports association “Feel Fit”, she is an embodiment of dynamism and commitment. She is always present at events organised in the town, whether through actively participating or by providing her support as a volunteer.

In short, Marie-Christine is a pillar of the local community. When the town applied for the “Land of the Games” label, Marie-Christine was fully involved in all the related events. In addition, she has set up walks, in partnership with the town, that are open to everyone as part of the #ExploreTerredeJeux initiative. For her daily dedication to keeping the spirit of the Games alive at local level, Marie-Christine deserves to carry the Olympic Torch.
