Lou Braz Dagand

Lou Braz Dagand will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Lou is a cheery, lively young man with a passion for sport. He has explored various disciplines such as wheelchair skiing, all-terrain wheelchair and disabled athletics. However, it is in his native mountains that he excels the most, particularly in downhill skiing. Originally from Cusy in Haute-Savoie, Lou is a source of pride for the whole Albanian community.

Despite the challenges posed by severe Lyme disease since 2014, which caused him to lose his speech, vision and the use of his arms and legs in the space of two days, Lou refuses to give up. Using sport as a driving force, this young bank advisor has chosen to fight and not let his disability become a weakness, continuing to pursue his dreams.
