Katherine Girard

Katherine Girard will carry the Olympic torch. This is her story:

Katherine is an inspirational figure, radiating energy and resolve, especially in her commitment to raising awareness for those with visual impairments through the École Chiens Guides d'Aveugles du Grand Sud-Ouest. This mother and grandmother is also a keen athlete. A visually impaired athlete herself, she will take part in the Olympic Torch Relay, running alongside her guide dog, Milos. Her resolve to prevail against the odds stands as a testament to bravery. She also inspires others to join the supportive network by becoming host families or relay families for guide dogs.

In addition to her dedication in this field, Katherine is undertaking a vocational training course to become a wellness masseur, a project that underscores her concern for the well-being of those around her.
