Julien Veysseyre

Julien Veysseyre will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Julien embodies an unwavering commitment to promoting sport and breaking down the barriers associated with disabilities. As a para-sports triathlete and member of the French team, he is also an ambassador for a company specialised in manufacturing racing blades for people whose lower limbs have been amputated.

His goal is to demonstrate that it is possible to make your dreams come true if you dare, by listening and working together to open new perspectives. He hopes to create a genuine community of sportspersons, whether they have disabilities or not. Being an Olympic Torchbearer and taking part in this extraordinary event is a dream come true for Julien, especially as he hopes one day to take part as an athlete.
