Joseph Acquaviva will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Joseph, in tune with the need to protect nature, followed his calling by working as a shepherd in Corsica. Every day, he criss-crosses the valleys and peaks of the gorgeous islands, diligently tending to his flock with unwavering dedication and a profound respect for the environment.

For him, the mountains of Corsica are more than just a workplace. They are a place where he really feels alive. These wild landscapes also double up as his playground for indulging in his favourite sports. Each moment spent in the great outdoors fuels his sense of freedom.
