Jean-Christophe Cour

Jean-Christophe Cour will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Christophe has had a long-running commitment to the realm of sport since he was a child, first as a sports supervisor overseeing others and then as a manager within his club and regional league, which he has presided over for multiple terms. His involvement extends to administrative roles at his national federation and the regional sports movement.

He will also play a key role as an NTO (National Technical Official) during the sailing events in Marseille. Profoundly committed to the values championed by sport and Olympism, as well as recognising volunteers who energise and guide activities, contributing to the rise of champions, Christophe aspires to shine a light on these core tenets and dedicated, passionate volunteers embodying the true sporting spirit in local communities through his participation in the Torch Relay.
