Hamidou Maiga

Hamidou Maiga will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Supported by the department through child welfare services, a few months ago, young Hamidou won the 2023 silver medal in the Best Apprentice competition for CAP (vocational aptitude certificate) in fashion — loose clothing, at the department level. His story is a testament to the potential and sheer grit of young people facing adversity in our lands, showcasing their ability to rise above challenges and succeed.
