Françoise Paris

Françoise Paris will carry the Olympic torch. This is her story:

A consummate athlete, Françoise is a dynamic woman with an insatiable need for daily exercise, be it cycling, swimming or running. Each weekend finds her hitting the coast for a swim or indulging in paddleboarding, a hobby she took up later in life. There is no stopping her.

An experienced runner, she is a regular participant in numerous sporting challenges, from triathlons to marathons. She pours heart and soul into the local community, volunteering to help organise sports events such as a half marathon, Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Fougères and the Saint-Lunaire triathlon. Françoise is always up for a challenge. She is also deeply involved in the daily life of the Fougères area, particularly in an association advocating for the rights of people with disabilities and their caregivers. She leads inclusive projects such as Facile à lire. She is determined to shape society around her core values: respect, mutual aid and solidarity.
