François Lozach

François Lozach will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

François is deeply involved with the departmental committee for disabled sports. He goes to schools and high schools in Dordogne to raise awareness of disabled sports among pupils with hands-on demonstrations. He has also co-chaired the Nontron football club for several years. Finally, François takes part in joelette races, supported by loyal friends who carry this chair designed for people with disabilities.

A paraplegic athlete since 2008 due to an accident, he has always been actively involved in sports community life. François flies the flag for many values, from personal transcendence, camaraderie and sharing to education, responsible citizenship, inclusion and respect for diversity. All this, combined with his track record and dedication to young people and other groups, will make François a fantastic Olympic torchbearer on his joelette.
