Emmanuel Dupont

Emmanuel Dupont will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Emmanuel plays an active role in the local community, especially in the field of sport, in which he is a committed member of several associations. Since his municipality obtained the “Land of the 2024 Games” label, he has been fully involved in coordinating events such as the Trail Jean Bouin, the Marie Marvingt races for children, the “Land of the Games” races, school cross-country runs, the associations festival and the local junior high school eliminator race, among others.

Each year, he sets challenges to support charitable sports activities such as the Telethon, Pink October and healthy heart initiative Parcours du Cœur. For example, during the last Telethon, Emmanuel ran without stop for 24 hours. He is also involved in para-sport, devoting plenty of time and energy to a major event in the department, the Montée avec Elles (climb with her) race on the CD70 road, an event from which the proceeds are used to purchase equipment for sportspeople with disabilities.
