Dimitri Marchadier

Dimitri Marchadier will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Dimitri has taken up rowing again, first for pleasure, then in competition, twenty years after being an emerging young French athlete in the sport. He is involved as a volunteer in the organisation of his club and also devotes his time to events such as the 'Traversée de Lyon' crossing, which takes place every 1st May and attracts around 400 to 500 rowers from all over France and neighbouring countries to row on the city's waterways.
