David Fiant

David Fiant will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Struggling with cystic fibrosis, David had to scale back his professional pursuits four years ago due to his health. He was almost literally racing for his life. Thanks to an innovative new treatment that gave him his breath back, he was able to put sport back in his life at a level consistent with what he can manage. At the vanguard of the fight against cystic fibrosis, two years ago he became the president of the charity Vaincre La Mucoviscidose. His unwavering commitment and courage make him an outstanding ambassador and an ideal Torchbearer for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
