David Dupouy will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

For David, shining a light on sport, embarking on ventures and contributing to a more sustainable society with a stronger focus on solidarity goes beyond Paris 2024. He believes that these values should be reflected in his daily actions and sustained over the long term. Sport provides a balance that complements his professional life. As a data architect, he manages a myriad of projects and diverse systems, steering them towards a singular goal: an environment that unifies data in a standardised format. As an amateur triathlete, the three distinct sports demand great adaptability to converge towards one ultimate aim: the finish line.

Sport also plays a key role in rallying his colleagues and revealing their strengths. Nothing unites people quite like an Ekiden, a team marathon where six athletes take turns to cover this legendary distance, as David learned first-hand last year, when he put together a team within his company. He also likes to bring up his involvement with Marine et Blanc, an organisation that brings Girondins de Bordeaux fans together under one roof. Through this platform, they back the main team, but also the women's team, which they have lent their full-throated support to since its inception. They even travelled to Sweden to cheer them on in their first European match!
