Chloé Riboulet

Chloé Riboulet will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Chloé boasts an exemplary personal and sporting career, balancing her university studies with her passion for judo. She is a student on a master’s in drug sciences and is very actively committed to her sport. Chloé began participating in Judo at the age of 6 years old and determinedly made progress until she became a black belt, enjoying plenty of success on the way, including several titles of county champion in the Allier department.

Her skills have been recognised on a number of occasions, including when she was selected in 2015 for the county under-16 team in the French Cup. In 2017, she distinguished herself by reaching the semi-finals of the French Championships in the under-18 first division, even climbing onto the third step on the podium in the same year. Her commitment and perseverance helped her reach the level of 2nd Dan in 2018. In addition to her exploits on the tatami, Chloé is fully committed to the life of her club, the Saint-Yorre Kodokan Judo School.
