Cédric Denuzière

Cédric Denuzière will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Cédric fervently embodies the values of elite level sport, such as determination, surpassing oneself, perseverance, sharing, solidarity and the pleasure of enjoying exercise. He is a two times French para-triathlon champion in the PTS3 category, in 2019 and 2022, and has also shone on the international stage. Cédric is currently engaged in the qualifiers for the 2024 Paralympic Games and is a source of inspiration for children and people with disabilities because he demonstrates that it is possible to reach the top level.

Cédric is proud to represent his country, France, as an Olympic Torchbearer and sees it as an opportunity to change attitudes and prove that differences are not insurmountable obstacles. He wants to encourage all children who grow up with a difference by showing them that it is possible to fulfil their potential. Cédric is convinced that sport is a powerful lever for social integration and sees the 2024 Games in France as a unique opportunity to promote diversity.
