Cécile Autran will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her history:
Cécile has devoted the last 15 years of her life to the Olympic Games, crossing the Atlantic Ocean several times to contribute to the success of the technology behind this international event. She began working on the Paris 2024 project in 2019 and had to demonstrate a significant dose of creativity to overcome the challenges thrown up by the pandemic, particularly via teleworking from Madrid.
Her expertise and devotion were rewarded by the Paris 2024 Director of Technology, who expressly requested her appointment to the local integration team in Paris. As a speaker at global technology team meetings, she has been a driving force behind the preparation of test events and the implementation of the Technology Operations Centre, a first in test event operations.
Outside work, Cécile strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle with daily exercise, a habit she shares with her two young children. She has also encouraged camaraderie within her team by motivating her colleagues to take part in sporting challenges. Furthermore, she took training in first aid when she was a teenager and is a member of the Paris 2024 first aid team. Cécile is concerned about the environment and recycles as well as repurposes every day, whether by buying second hand clothes or reusing packaging…
