Carine Babonneau will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Carine has been volunteering in the field of sport since she was 13 years old, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to her passion. Over the years, she has held positions of responsibility such as head of a sports committee, chairwoman of a sports association and vice-chairwoman of the LGBTQI+ Sports Federation. Her dedication was also illustrated when she successfully organised the table tennis event at the Gay Games in 2018 in Paris, which was a major event that brought together more than 10,000 participants.

As a member of the first group of the 300 club of women managers, Carine is a true pioneer in promoting inclusion and diversity in the world of sport. Her daily action aims to break down barriers and open doors to all, creating a more welcoming and egalitarian sporting environment for everyone.
