Candide Pagnier

Candide Pagnier will carry the Olympic torch. This is her story:

Candide pours her heart and soul into her neighbourhood and is keen to get everyone involved in this unique event. For the past 15 years, she has been a driving force behind Amicale du Hameau de Bras, in the town of Ifs.

She runs cultural and sports activities for young people, seniors and people with disabilities in her hamlet. She has organised catamaran trips, hikes, kayaking excursions, land sailing outings and more, much to the delight of the participants. They also host events such as bingo nights and fundraising parties to bring the community together and finance these outings. On top of her community work, she stays active with regular gym sessions, hiking, swimming, cycling whenever she can and even tackling the odd 10K race.
