Anais Roland

Anais Roland will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Anaïs is a young top-level sportswoman and keen judoka. Her commitment to the values of the Olympics, such as excellence, friendship and respect, is undeniable. For the last 11 years, she has trained keenly with the ACSAM club in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, where she has reached the rank of black belt 1st dan. Anaïs has already had the opportunity to represent France in judo championships, demonstrating her talent and commitment to this sport.

At the same time, she has also taken part in horse-riding competitions. Her experience extends beyond France’s borders, as she has had the opportunity to train with foreign judokas, enriching her grasp of different cultures. As a volunteer for blind football tournaments, Anaïs has demonstrated her willingness to help and learn through sport, while promoting the values of friendship and sharing. Becoming an Olympic Torchbearer is an honour for the young lady and a source of inspiration for her and others. This will reinforce her commitment to promoting the Olympic spirit and encouraging the practice of sport as a means of overcoming obstacles and celebrating cultural diversity.
