Alice Naux will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:
Alice made her debut with the Bellerivoise club at the age of 4 years old. After learning the basics of gymnastics, she soon excelled in the discipline, demonstrating her talent from an early age. When she was only 11 years old, she became champion of central France, which opened the doors to the national championships the following year, in which she brilliantly represented her club. Her talent was spotted by the local council, which selected her as one of its young local talents.
This recognition gave her the opportunity to take part in a training course at the French gymnastics centre in Saint-Étienne at the age of 13 years old, enabling her to perfect her skills with the best gymnasts in the country. Alice has won many titles at departmental, inter-departmental and regional level, both individually and as part of a team. Alongside her studies, she continues to invest herself fully in gymnastics, in particular by joining the TeamGym club. In addition, she has obtained her Level 1 judge's diploma, enabling her to contribute to the smooth running of competitions and she also devotes part of her time to supervising the youngest gymnasts, sharing her experience and passion for the sport.
