Alexandre Berteloot

Alexandre Berteloot will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

For Alexandre, the Olympic Games are more than just a simple sports competition; they embody the spirit of excellence, diversity and peace, which are all values that he endeavours to put into practice daily. Since his childhood, sport has occupied a place of central importance in his life. Alexandre has participated in many disciplines, from tennis to swimming, but it is athletics that represents his veritable passion.

He has taken part in national and international competitions, constantly pushing back his own boundaries to achieve excellence. Outside sport, he is actively involved in his community as a volunteer with local sports associations and as a member of a charity supporting disadvantaged athletes. These commitments reflect the Olympic spirit of solidarity and inclusion that he wishes to promote by becoming a Torchbearer, and to share this experience with all those who believe in the power of sport to unite the world.
