Alain Dusang

Alain Dusang will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Alain left his mark on Soissons' sporting history by becoming the first player from the region to be recruited by a major club, notably Vichy, earning him a place in the French B team. Following this fruitful experience, he decided to switch to the other side of the touchline by becoming coach of Racing Club Vichy Rugby for two years, even winning the U18 French Championship.

Thereafter, he moved to the position of scout for ASM Rugby. Alongside his career in rugby, Alain shared his experience with young people as a sports instructor for the municipality of Vichy, where he has spent his entire career. Today, he has moved from grass to water, supervising sessions for schoolchildren, companies and the rowing school (adult leisure activities) at the town’s rowing club, Club de l'Aviron de Vichy.
