Founded in 1912, the French Golf Federation (ffgolf) is an association governed by the Law of 1901, declared to be of public utility and a delegate of the Ministry of Sports. With 738 structures throughout France and over 442,000 members, the FFGolf ranks fourth among Olympic Federations for individual sports.

Its federal project is built around elite sport, the development of practice and ecological transition.

Golf, the world's leading individual sport with 66 million players, has been back at the Games since 2016. The Paris 2024 Olympic Torch Relay is a fantastic opportunity to shine a spotlight on the sport, to associate it with the universal values of Olympism and to celebrate the two French golf courses hosting the biggest international events.

We are extremely proud to welcome the Flame to our two golf courses, which host some of the biggest events played in France: Évian Resort Golf Club, the venue of the only women's Major tournament played in continental Europe, and Le Golf National, venue of the French Open, the 2018 Ryder Cup and the Olympic Games 2024.

The Team Relay, which will take place at Hole 2 of The 18-hole Champion Course, will kick off under the energetic leadership of Magali Genevray, a commissioner who has been devoted to golf for over two decades! She will be surrounded by local figures from French sport, including Léo Lacroix - silver medallist at the Olympic Games Innsbruck 1962 - Peggy Bouchet, Florence Masnada, Benjamin Cavet and Émilie Mollard. They will be joined by volunteers involved in golf, young hopefuls of French golf and Para golfers Issa Nlareb Amang and Mélody Roccaz.

It is an immense honour to be captain of the team Torch Relay at the Évian Resort Golf Club. Our team will carry the light of sporting excellence, courage and the spirit of the Games, and let the passion of golf shine on the Olympic stage.
