The inaugural World Athletics Road Running Championships takes place in Riga, Latvia, on Sunday (1 October 2023).

Individual medals will be awarded in six road running races across both genders -- the road mile, 5km, and half-marathon -- while half-marathon team medals will be up for grabs according to the final standings.
