World record-breaking pole vaulter Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis starts his campaign for back-to-back world titles on day five (Wednesday 23 August) of the Budapest 23 World Athletics Championships.
The Swede is one of the hottest favourites for gold in the Hungarian capital and has won 11 out of 12 competitions this season.
He improved his own world record to 6.22m in February and, with excellent conditions expected at the National Athletics Centre this week, that mark could be under threat.
