Grant Holloway is a three-time consecutive track and field world champion.

The American hurdler ran a season best 12.96 seconds to win the men's 110m hurdles final at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, on Monday (21 August).

Holloway started strongly and quickly opened up a lead which the 25-year-old never relinquished.

"I'm speechless right now," Holloway told the American broadcast on Peacock after his race. "Nothing feels like the first one, but this one I'm definitely going to cherish in my heart.

"To come back out here and do it with my brother (Daniel Roberts in third), we started running in college together, having battles, now we're able to have these battles on the world stage.

"Consistency is my biggest attribute. The biggest thing is I come out there and I know what I'm going to run before I'm on track."

Behind him, Olympic champion Hansle Parchment came home in 13.07 seconds to take silver, while Holloway's American teammate Roberts claimed bronze in 13.09 seconds.
