After an exciting international break, women’s football returns to the domestic scene this weekend.
In England, however, all eyes will be on the richest club competition in the nation's history: The FA Cup.
The last sixteen will be whittled down to the final eight, setting up four enticing quarter-final clashes.
Chelsea are the defending Champions having beat Manchester City 3-2 in an enthralling final last year, witnessed by just over 49,000 fans at Wembley Stadium. But Emma Hayes’ side will have to get through Arsenal – their 2023 Continental Cup final opponents – if they are to defend their title.
Nine of the remaining 16 teams are in the Women’s Super League, with six coming from the Championship and one emerging from the Women’s National League in the form of Cardiff City.

Women’s FA Cup: How to watch
FA Cup fixtures this weekend will be available in a few different locations. Arguably the biggest fixture of them all, holders Chelsea taking on Arsenal, is set to be aired live on BBC Two – available through the BBC iPlayer, too.
Fixtures not selected for national broadcast will be available to watch through the FA’s designated streaming platform, The FA Player in the UK.
Alternatively, clubs may broadcast their respective games through their own streaming platforms with game-specific information expected to be revealed throughout the week.
