Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2023 - Women's Finals in Arlington, Texas: Preview, competition schedule, and how to watch live action

The 2023 Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VLN) will conclude with the Finals held at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas (United States) from 12 to 16 July.
Hosts and reigning Olympic champions, the United States, will be joined by the seven top teams from the Preliminary Phase, which ended on 2 July.
After 96 matches, the 16 teams who competed in the group stages have been narrowed down to eight. Poland claimed the top spots in the standings, followed by the USA, Türkiye, Brazil, China, Italy, Japan, and Germany, which will be making their debut in the final round.
Last year’s bronze medallists Serbia missed the cut after finishing in ninth position.

Women's VNL 2023 Final 8 - Teams
Poland (#1): With 10 wins out of 12 matches, Stefano Lavarini's team topped the preliminary round standings and advanced to the Finals for the first time since 2019.
United States (#2): The hosts are looking for an unprecedented fourth VNL title after ending the opening phase with ten victories, only a point short of winners Poland.
Türkiye (#3): The two-time VNL medallists have consistently reached the Finals stage and concluded the preliminaries with nine wins.
Brazil (#4): The South Americans have established themselves as regular contenders at the VNL Finals, securing the runners-up position in the past three editions.
China (#5): After winning consecutive bronze medals in the first two editions, the Asians aim to reclaim a podium finish following their early exit in 2021 and missing the final four cut in 2022.
Italy (#6): Despite a challenging start and a team comprised of many young and inexperienced players, the defending champions displayed resilience and bounced back, winning seven out of the last eight matches.
Japan (#7): The Asian powerhouse collected seven victories to qualify for their third consecutive VNL Finals.
Germany (#8): Guided by Vital Heynen, the Germans made history by entering the Final 8 for the first time.
History of the Women's Volleyball Nations League (VNL)
The Volleyball Nations League (VNL) was introduced by the FIVB in October 2017, with the inaugural edition held in 2018.
The VNL replaced the long-standing World Grand Prix, which had been in existence since 1993.
