USA swimming masks at Tokyo 2020 are other-worldly!
The large, patterned designs have split opinion on Twitter, with some users suggesting that movie villain Bane has joined Team USA!

Is it Bane? Is it the Transformers? No, it’s USA swimming!
On the first night of swimming finals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the Twittersphere picked up on an interesting item of podium fashion for Team USA.
The likes of newly-crowned 400m individual medley Olympic champion Chase Kalisz were seen sporting large, white masks with a diamond pattern that some onlookers believe resembles something out of a Hollywood movie.
Some think it’s cool, others think it’s weird, but most importantly they look like they will keep the athletes safe!
