Established names in European football Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Napoli learnt their opponents for the 2020-21 season of the UEFA Europa League following the group stage draw on Friday.

There were no real surprises in the UEFA Europa League draw, with most of the top teams finding a place in pot 1.

The 48 participating teams have been drawn in 12 groups, with the top two sides from each group to progress to the Round of 32. They will be joined by the eight third-placed clubs from the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Finalists at the 2018-19 UEL, Arsenal, find themselves in Group B where they will take on Austrian side SK Rapid Wien, Norway’s Molde and Dundalk of Ireland, a campaign Mikel Arteta’s side should come through unscathed.

Their North-London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur have been handed an easy draw with Bulgaria’s Ludogorets, LASK from Austria and the Belgian Cup winners Royal Antwerp grouped in Group J.

Napoli, meanwhile, will be in for an entertaining run with Spanish outfit Real Sociedad trying to make life difficult for them in Group F. The Netherlands’ AZ Alkmaar and the Croatian Cup winners Rijeka FC make up the group.

The group stage matches of the UEFA Europa League will kick off on October 22.
