We're down to eight teams at the Euro 2020 men's football tournament. And what a tournament it has been so far! The first round of knockout games produced surprises, shocks, and some of the most incredible comebacks ever seen at a major finals.
So which countries made it to the quarter-finals? What does their possible route to the final look like? Who are the new favourites to claim the Henri Delaunay trophy in 2021? And how can you watch it all?
Biggest performances in the last-16 round of Euro 2020 in 2021
Headlining the nations to exit at the last 16 phase were defending European champions Portugal and, reigning world champions France.
Thorgan Hazard scored the only goal in Belgium's win over Portugal, and in doing so sent Cristiano Ronaldo home before the quarter-finals. The Belgians remain one of the favourites to go all the way.
Switzerland delivered a footballing epic for the ages when they came from 3-1 down to push France all the way to penalties. Kylian Mbappé missed the decisive spot kick, to send Switzerland through (5-4) and the early tournament favourites home.
Denmark added another chapter to their Euro 2020 fairytale, when they quashed Wales 4-0 in Amsterdam. The Danes will now line-up against Italy, who beat Austria 2-1.
The Czech Republic delivered another tournament upset when they bested the Netherlands 2-0. Spain saw off an amazing Croatia comeback, with two goals in extra time eventually sealing their spot.
England, now the only team left in the tournament yet to concede, defeated Germany 2-0 at Wembley Arena. They will face off against Ukraine, who sent Sweden out after a goal in extra time. With the semi-finals and Final being played at Wembley, the English are now among the favourites to claim their first major trophy since the 1966 world cup.

- Netherlands 0-2 Czech Republic.
- Belgium 1-0 Portugal.
- Croatia 3-5 Spain (after extra time).
- France 3-3 Switzerland. Switzerland win 5-4 on penalties.

- Sweden 2-1 Ukraine (after extra time).

At the start of Euro 2020, 24 teams were divided into six groups and played against one other for a chance to guarantee a spot in the knockouts. The winners and runners-up of the group automatically progressed.
Group A winner: Italy, runners-up: Wales.
Group B winner: Belgium, runners-up: Denmark.
Group C winner: Netherlands, runners-up: Austria.
Group D winner: England, runners-up: Croatia.
Group E winner: Sweden, runners-up: Spain.
Group F winner: France, runners-up: Germany.
Third-placed teams qualifying from the Euro 2020 groups
In addition to the winners and runners-up, the next tournament structure meant that the four best third-placed finishers also moved through to the knockout phase.
At the conclusion of the group stage the following teams had done enough to make it through:
- Switzerland - Group A (4 pts).
- Czech Republic - Group D (4 pts).
- Portugal - Group F (4 pts)
- Ukraine - Group C (3 pts).
