India concluded the U23 & U17 Asian Wrestling Championships 2023 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan with a total of 44 medals - 13 gold, 13 silver and 18 bronze. The continental meet was held from June 10 to 18 with 60 Indian wrestlers vying for medals across different age and weight categories.
The wrestlers competed in the men’s and women’s freestyle and men’s Greco-Roman categories at the U23 & U17 Asian Wrestling Championships 2023. There were 10 weight divisions in each of the three wrestling formats per age group. India sent one wrestler per division.

The U17 championships were held from June 10 to 13 followed by the U23 meet from June 15 to 18.
India's U17 contingent returned with eight gold medals. India's U23 contingent, led by the 19-year-old Sagar Jaglan, the 2021 cadet world champion, managed five gold medals.
