Tokyo 2020 Women's Park Skateboarding Final: History on the line in hunt for first-ever park skateboarding gold

With the first-ever Olympic medals on offer in skateboarding in Tokyo, here’s everything you need to know about the women's park skateboarding competition at Tokyo 2020 on 4 August 2021.

What’s happening?

The day's action runs from 9:00 - 13:40 (local time) at the Ariake Urban Sports Park with the Women's Park Prelims Heats and will be followed by the Women's Park Final, which will boast some of the world's top female skaters in the park discipline. The Women's Park Victory Ceremony will follow the Final and crown the first-ever park skating Olympic medallists in history.

Who should I expect to see?

YOSOZUMI Sakura of Japan will be among the favourites to claim the first women's skateboarding goal in the park discipline after coming in first in the recent Dew Tour stop in Des Moines, Iowa. Others to keep an eye on are Team-GB's young Sky Brown and Americans Bryce Wettstein and Jordyn Barratt.

With the first-ever gold in Olympic women's park skateboarding on the line, the competition is bound to be tension-filled and all-out on 4 August.
