Tokyo 2020: Where do India's Olympic-bound athletes hail from?
At least 107 athletes from various states in India will form the strong Indian contingent for Tokyo 2020.
India will field a strong contingent of 107 athletes across 18 disciplines for Tokyo 2020, slated to get underway from July 23, 2021.
It should also be noted that the states of Punjab and Haryana produce plenty of boxers and wrestlers while three out of the four sailors qualified for Tokyo 2020 hail from Tamil Nadu.
Haryana has produced at least 27 athletes who are set to take part at Tokyo 2020. Incredibly, all the seven Tokyo-bound wrestlers hail from the state, which is also known as the hub of wrestling in India.
