It's a thrilling day of action with the women's 55kg weightlifting qualifications happening today from 13:50 onwards and straight into the finals in the evening session.

Who should I expect to see?

After winning silver at the Rio 2016 Games, Hidilyn Diaz of the Philippines is gunning for a gold medal-worthy performance in what may be her final Olympics. But she won't be alone in her quest as two new faces are seeking the same Olympic glory: Chinese Taipei's CHIANG Nien-Hsin, who was a gold medallist in the 2014 Youth Olympic Games, and 2019 World Champion LIAO Qiuyun from People's Republic of China.
