A total of 158 Paris 2024 quota spots in breaking, BMX freestyle cycling, skateboarding, and sport climbing have been obtained by athletes via the Olympic Qualifier Series, taking place in Shanghai and Budapest in May and June 2024.
That breaks down into 20 in breaking, 12 in BMX freestyle, 88 in skateboarding (via the Olympic World Skate Rankings or OWSR) and 38 in sport climbing.
In breaking, BMX freestyle, and sport climbing, the spots were secured by athletes directly based on their performances at both stages of OQS, while in skateboarding, the OWSR – which weights prior events, OQS Shanghai, and OQS Budapest each equally – determined the quota spots. More quota spots were secured through re-allocation at OQS, notably in sport climbing.
But which athletes have performed well enough to obtain their spot through the OQS? Discover the full list of the athletes who secured quotas.
Note that quota spots may also be obtained at other events, not just OQS. These quotas are not shown below.
As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective teams at the Olympic Games, athletes' participation at Paris 2024 depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation. Click here to view the qualification system for each sport.
You can watch the Olympic Qualifier Series (OQS) in Budapest from 20 to 23 May live on Olympic Channel via Olympics.com and the official Olympics app for mobile devices.
